Shinny Hockey on the Pond

A group of children play a game of shinny hockey on the pond. Some kids are cross-country skiing across the road. A bonfire is lit next to the pond as neighbours enjoy lively conversation and watch the kids play hockey. It will be Christmas Day soon.

Three Pines

A small white church sits at the centre of “Three Pines” village. Behind the church, ice skaters are playing on the frozen pond. Town’s folk can be seen rushing through the village roadways in horse-drawn sleighs. It’s cold today and the smoke from the wood fires in the towns buildings lingers as it rises from the chimneys.

It’s early December and the family at the “Blue House” is getting ready for Christmas. Father and the children are bringing home the Christmas tree in the sleigh. Bobby stayed home to build some snowmen. It looks like he’s almost finished.
