It’s a busy day at the farm. A farm worker brings a large wagon of hay in from the fields while children play ball with the family dog. There will be an abundance of firewood this winter as the woodchopper works on a large tree that has been felled at the roadside. Across the road, a group of children are building a family of snowmen. Another group of neighbouring kids are tobogganing on the hillside. The road is busy today as friends swoosh by in horse drawn sleighs.

It’s cold outside, but oh so warm inside! The Christmas wreath is hung on the front door. Soon neighbours and friends will visit. The children are excited for the holidays as they work on several amazing snowmen in the front yard. It might be Christmas, but the farm chores never end as father heads to the barn to milk the cows.
